Default 96 & 00 fenders??

will 00 civic fenders fit on a 96 civic?
some guy told me that they will but the 96 and the 00 have slightly different design
96 hoods wont fit on a 00 and vise versa.
so i dont think that 00 fenders will fit on an EK.
correct me if im wrong please

i would say no. i suppose 96-00 could all be about the same except for the si, but the em1 front ends are all around different... I doubt it would be a good fit.

they wont fit. 96-98 civics have a different front end design than 99-00. em1 parts are no different than 99-00 so they will bolt up to any other civic as long as its a 99-00 model. so if you want to bolt up any 99-00 front end parts to a 96-98 civic, you will need to buy the hood/fenders/grill/headlights/front bumper.

they will fit but you'll have to change the hood, headlights, bumper and grill to the same year as the fenders.

The fenders wont fit. If anything you will have to do a 99 - 00 front end conversion.

'99-'00 fenders won't just fit on a '96-'98 front end.

If you want to use them you need to replace:
- Front bumper
- Headlights
- Fenders
- Grille
- Hood
- Core support (or modify core support OR bumper)

All '96-'98 front ends in the US are the same, though the grilles differ. Sedans have chrome trim and more fins. Hatches and coupes have color matched trim. The grilles are interchangeable though.

All '99-'00 front ends in the US are the same, though the grilles differ. Sedans have chrome trim and more fins. Hatches and coupes (besides the Si) have color matched trim. The grilles are interchangeable though. The Si has a color matched trim and mesh grille.

The Si had a standard front lip which was optional on other coupes. The Si part number is more expensive though.
