ive got a ninety five civic but hatch with a 97 gsr rewired to obd1..i had the gsr in a sedan for two years and in ran fine....now its in the hatch and cranks over but will not start...i traced it down to no injector pulse and i cant figure out why the injectors wont send a pulse any help would be great

 

start with your grounds then move to the dizzy. are they the same injectors that you used in the sedan?

 

everything is exactly the same i pulled the entire motor and trans complete with the harness out of the sedan and put it in the hatch....i changed two of the grounds the one from the head to the body and one from the trans to body im not sure how many other grounds there are. i dont know what else to do . by the way what is the dizzy?

the distributor is fine i checked everything as far as fuel and spark and there is just no injector pulse

bad injector? may be needs cleaning

 

i dont think its a bad injector because its all the injectors i back probed the injector plugs and none of them have power

 

check the middle shock tower plug on the passengers side, 4 wires I believe. All are signal wires for the injectors. I pulled my hair out for 2 days after a swap once trying to figure out why it would only start occasionally and even then would barely run, plug was only partially plugged in.

 

sounds good ill try that tomorrow hopefully this works i miss my car!!
