Default injector position

97 ex, fuel rail installed before i purchased it. my no 3 cylinder fuel injector is 180 degrees off of the other 3 injectors, ive been having driveability problems with the car, is this something that could cause some problems. ie, weak acceleration, random miss at times and just a lack of power. cel is on got codes for TP, MAP, CYT, and IAT sensors, but going through all the pinpoint tests all my wiring and sensors are fine. i know that i am getting a weak spark so im thinking bout putting a coil in for the hell of it, the injector just caught my eye.

Default Re: injector position (squrly97ex)

If you are running an injector with a single hole in the pintle cap, then it doesn't matter how the injector is clocked in the manifold. It just sprays down. Some injectors (like turbo Fords) have a pintle cap with 2 holes to split and direct the spray. The side feed MR2's have metal built-in spray diffuser.
