overheating at stops..replaced thermostat..overheating again!
my car started to climb in temp one day...so i got a replacement thermostat...it fixed it for 2 weeks..now its climbing again...why could this be?...theres no oil in the coolant and i replaced the thermostat gasket. any help would be appreciated!
i didnt bleed it(should i bleed it from the screw on the end of the radiator hose?..its a b18b1)...the fan does kick in...as as far as the water pump goes wouldnt it make a whirling noise? thats just something ive been told.
from what i heard you bleed it with the engine cold, loosen the bleeder screw, take the rad cap off fill the rad till antifreeze starts coming out of the bleeder screw then tighten the bleeder screw, and put the rad cap back on. should be good to go
