K, long story short.. Picked up a 98 LS with a blown motor, got a GREAT, and I mean GREAT deal on an obd0 b18a1 with shotpeened rods and pr3 pistons, I didn't want an obd0 motor but for the price I couldn't pass it up.. I've noticed I've got a huge issue here, atleast I think it's a huge issue.. Was wondering if anyone knew the answer to this..

The obd2 motor has a plug by the crank that the obd0 motor doesn't have (think it's like a crankshaft position sensor or something, not sure though) I know if I run the motor without it the car is going to throw a code, not sure how it's going to run, probably horrible.

Is there any way to bypass this, I know I'm not the first guy to put an obd0 motor into an obd2 car, so someone has to chime in on this.. I'm half tempted to buy an obd2-obd1 conversion harness and obd1 LS ecu, but wanted to know if there was ANY other way around this..

You're a lifesaver now, I was about to order a conversion harness, and obd1 p75 just to get the car running correctly, glad I just saved myself $150.
