stock head studs... reusable or no?
yes you can reuse them being that the head is aluminum and bolts are steel they dont stretch that much at all. all though head studs would be a nice up grade
yeah i know with cast bocks and the whole "torque to yeild" you cant reuse studs but i was just making sure the same didnt apply to alluminum blocks. thanks

I've done at least 10 head jobs re-using the stock bolts without a single blown headgasket afterwards.
-Always make sure the holes in the block are cleaned out with air and brakleen before reinstalling the head
-Always oil the bolts with motor oil before installing
-Reinstall them in the same place as they came out of
