my 95 civic trunk has to be slammed a couple times to shut any way to fix or no?
can i buy new trunk lid?

 

line up the latch correctly. lubricate the actual latch mechanisim. make sure everything is straight and not bent from an accident.

 

^WORD. Look at it from the inside while someone closes it and make sure the striker/latch is all lined up. I know sometimes my trunk handle will stay in the up position if i pull it a little too hard to get the trunk open. The handle should almost be effortless tho.
