info..94 civic del sol si running a b18b1 motor and what i belive to be a gsr hydro tranny

my wheel bearing pretty much was destroyed and i needed a new spindle (110 from honda) and new bearing (52 from autozone) and new passenger side axel (60 from NAPA) and 0h yea a new ball joint (25 from napa) and after putting it all back together i think that my axel is too short....it goes in put needs to be shoved hard thru the spindle to go all the way thru..the axel for the del sol and the LS integra are the same but since the tranny might be a gsr i was wondering if i needed a gsr one..i bought the tranny with clutch kit and the old axel's with it so i didnt really think about it just bought it...just needed to get the car running....

so pretty much this is my question is the gsr passenger side axel longer/shorter/or same as the LS???

and how can i tell what kind of tranny it is..???

any help is greatly appreciated

 

all b series axles r the same.i think the tranny should have a code carved on it.

 

The transmission forum here may have a list of codes.

There are some good guys there that can help.

 

*All* '94 - '01 integra (except '98+ JDM ITR), '94 - '97 Del Sol Vtec, and a '99 - '00 Civic Si 5 speed axles are the same, automatic may be as well, if someone can confirm please do. *All* '90 - '93 integra 5 speed axles are the same, again if someone can confirm if the automatic units are the same please do.
