Default HOW CAN I TELL I HAVE A BROKE LMA????????

i think i have a broken LMA because it sound like a bad rod bearing but when i put my head to the motor it sounds like its come from the head. I was told if it sound like a bad rod bearing but what are the sounds and signs of a broken Lost assembly. Please someone tell me the signs.

take ur oil pan off and ur head off and give more info. See if there is any shavings if so its prolly some bearing.

well i dont have nothing to do today am make a video of this me taking off the oil pan and shakin the rods and check the oil pan then am make a video of me taking off the valve cover but i know where the LMA how do you check it thou?

you can rev the engine to over 3k and engage the vtec solenoid, if noise stops there you have it.

If you suspect rod bearings pull the fuel injector connector off 1 at a time while idling. It'll stop knocking when you pull the connector of the offending cylinder.

To check LMA's, remove the cams then push on the center rocker and check for smooth movement.

youd think itd still make some knocking sounds since its still rotating just doesnt have the cylinder pressure acting upon it
