Default 4-1 header subframe clearence G2 Teg?

Ok so as far as i knew and have been told a 4-1 header will not clear the factory subframe on a g2 integra. Come janurary ill be starting my long over due body work and re-doing my exhasut to help my 13:0.1 Ls/V breath better. I worked on a G2 today that had a Dc JDM 4-1 with the factory subframe untouched!!! How did this guy get it to fit in there with out rubbing? I have an idea of taking the subframe down and then installing it that way but it doesnt hit the saubframe at all?Anyone else running a 4-1 with factory subframe?

Subframe or Cross Member? If you mean the cross member, then no you must cut the cross member to fit.

Just notch your cross member a little bit...

yeah you gotta take out a chunk of your cross member, unless you get an after market cross member.

I banged my front cross member. Ground clearance is horrible and I'm going with an ESP traction bar instead.

I wouldn't bother with the header, for the extra 1-4hp... I'd rather have ground clearance.
