my brothers integra is automatic, it keeps turning off while hes driving the car, i thought maybe its the fuel pump, but then again im not a pro, any suggestions?

 

Check your distributor, my teg was doing the same thing...
If you turn the ignition on you should be able to hear your fuel pump kicking in...

check if your getting sparks from the spark plugs. to do that take out one of your spark plug and see if you get any sparks and if your getting sparks its your distributor.
another part to check is fuel pump put your car on ignition and listen for the fuel pump priming and if you dont hear it then it could be your fuel pump.
check your ground wires see if their good. hope that helps

 

main relay? Every honda Iv owned has had a bung one that would turn the car off on hot days.

Easy fix just resolder it.

if its doing it around a certain fuel level you may have water in your fuel tank.

Check the fuel filter aswell, My mates integra wouldnt rev over 4G with out turning off and it turned out he still had the stock filter on 190,000ks it was very blocked.
