i recently put a d15b7 motor in my dx and always wondered why the idle was real low and started smoking white steam smoke so i decided to take each plug out and number #3 spark plug had water on it so blown head gasket so i took the head off and some idiot put 2 head gaskets on it. and both gaskets had cracks on it so i put everything back the same. same timing setting then it idles better,no more water leaks, but now every time i give it gas on the pedal all the way down it picks up slow. so if any can help me thankx....

 

Sounds like the timing is off

 

Definitely sounds like a timing issue.

 

would 2 head gaskets make a difference on the motor for power before
