clutch pedal issue
My car is a 1998 automatic integra. I swapped a b18c and did a auto to manuel conversion. I installed only the clutch pedal and left the brake and gas pedal alone for now. Whenever i step on the clutch i have to step to the floor. It feel like i need an extra inch of space so the gear would go in smoother. It has been bleed multiply times but no luck. please help!!
did you adjust your clutch pedal height? the pedal has to contact the switch when released. mine use to feel the same way after i replaced the master cylinder and the slave cylinder it felt like the clutch wasnt pushed in enough even to the floor and it was hard to shift smoothly. i had to adjust the clutch pedal height so that the pedal contacted the switch when released.

A guide like a Helms?
NOTE: The clutch is self-adjusting to compensate for wear.
CAUTION: If there is no clearance between the master cylinder piston and push rod, the release bearing is held against the diaphragm spring, which can result in clutch slippage or other clutch problems.

Loosen locknut A, and back off the clutch switch (or adjusting bolt) until it no longer touches the clutch pedal.
Loosen locknut C, and turn the push rod in or out to get the specified stroke (A) and height (C) at the clutch pedal.
Tighten locknut C.
Turn the clutch switch (or adjusting bolt) until it contacts the clutch pedal.
Turn the clutch switch (or adjusting bolt) in 3/4 to 1 full turn further.
Tighten locknut A.
Loosen locknut B on the clutch interlock switch.
Measure the clearance between the floor board and clutch pedal with the clutch pedal fully depressed.
Release the clutch pedal 15 - 20 mm (0.59 - 0.79 inch) from the fully depressed position and hold it there. Adjust the position of the clutch interlock switch so that the engine will start with the clutch pedal in this position.
Turn clutch interlock switch 3/4 to 1 full turn further.
Tighten locknut B.
You should get a Helms.
