Need a lil advice on body work
So i took it upon myself to sand down my car. which was originally a sunset orange color.
On the passenger i think i sanded a lil too much, a lot of bare metal points.
What i need to know is, when i go over these bare metal points to straighten out the body, i have to use bondo?
More so, what type of bondo works better over bare metal?
Im just a lil curious because i dont wanna mess it up too bad, but from the look of it imma need alot of bondo cuz it's alot of bare metal points. I took this lesson and on the driver side i didnt hit bare metal at all and the body on the driverside is sanded but very smooth so that side's pretty much ready to go.
I dont like the idea of using bondo but this car was practically already on it's way to f*ckvill with the body work that was already done to it.
Can anyone give advice as to where i go from here? like what kinda bondo to use on the bare metal and how much to use?

use evercoat filler plus fill the area well enough to cover the dent or whatever bc u will end up sanding most of it off anyway but b careful not to go to deep as u will have to use filler again a little goes a long way just make sure its smooth with the panel itself no bumps or grooves then primer/sealer right after or u will have some surface rust (which will sand out) to cover the entire areau can use a flexible sanding block to get the lines right they will form just dont rush or use a ton of pressure on it. it takes time and patience but it will come. just b patient.
Right now you are working blind. You need to start blocking this car. Fill in any low spots and sand it smooth then prime the area. Next do a guide coat and sand until the the guide coat is gone. This will reveal the high and low spots that still exists. You may have some high spots that may need to be pounded down a little. The low spots shouldn't be that bad if you were thorough in the first fill so you should be able to fill with polyester finishing putty. I use evercoat and it's called glaze coat. You can apply right over primer. After you fill sand it smooth, prime, and block again. Repeat untill you are confident that the body is straight.
1st thing what the h*ll did you sand that with? Dont even tell me a da!!! That is gonna be a pain in the *ss to straighten out now. You have diff heights on the entire quarter panel now. My suggestion is this mask off the car and shoot about 3-4 coats of high build 2k primer on the entire quarter panel. After thats dried mist the quarter panel with black rattle can . Then start sanding with some 320grit on a long block. If there is still some black left when ur done those are your low spots that will need actual body filler. If you need to know more pm me. Later kid

Hell Yeah, ****'s works awesome tho. I actually know a bodyman who works for a Ford dealer who still uses this method instead of guide coat.

meh its okay for someone who has time to wait around... stupid *** spray paint never dries quick for me. if you don't give it enough time to dry it just gunks up your sand paper. it definitely gets the job done though if you give it plenty of time to dry.
