hesitation and low idle
I own a 93 accord LX and recently it started missing like the car was running out of gas. My fuel light was not on and I had 1/4 tank of gas. Also the car idles real, real low almost hitting zero at a stop. Is this idle normal for an automatic? Do you guys know what might be causing the car to studder? Oh, the car has 160,000 miles. Thank you for your assistance.
Has any type of main't ever been done?
Clean around the throttle plate with carb cleaner.
Unplug the IACV while at idle to see if it is working, also the screen on the IACV can get clooged with soot.
If it is running rich pull the vacum line from the Fuel Pressure Regulator and check for raw gas, IE ruptured diaphram.
