Default Question about Installing an Amp

Okay i've just bought a new amp for my System, and need to rewire for lower gauge power wires..

I kinda forgot how to remove the kick panel trim, and the rocker panel trim, and basically all the trims that you need to take out to wire the power wires and RCAs.

I have a 96 civic Sedan. Which trim do i begin to take out first? i want to know the proper way of doing this so i don't damage anything like i did last time.

thanks

Just start pulling pieces out. If they're resistant, look at the piece it's binding with and remove it first. It's not a difficult process.

On a side note: It's not a good idea to run your RCA's and power wire next to one another.

Start with the kick panel, its held on by clips and it pulls toward the center of the vehicle, may have a screw on plastic nut/washer up high as well. Next is the threashold panel, it has clips on the bottom (about 4 clips). You pull gently on the pieces trying not to bend them, preferably in a garage with some heat, cold plastic gets pissed when you try to play with it.

Just remember....plastic always bends before it breaks

Front to back is usually how the process goes. My car's an oddball. I had to remove the kick panel and rear passenger panel, before I could remove the piece on the door sill. Unless I wanted to break the tabs, that is.
