in order to get the mast in i had to take the motor assembly apart and take out the old mast b/c it broke off from the old antenna. i got the mast put in and when you first turn the key it goes up smooth but when i turn the key off and the antenna goes down it hangs up and doesnt go all the way down. any ideas on what went wrong? cars a 91 accord ex

ill try it but all i got right now is white lithium grease. will that work ok for this?

you are talking about the mast correct? i did put some grease in the motor/mast gear compartment when i put it back together.
