so my a/c is acting up pretty bad all of the sudden.. when it's on the lines to the freon canister get almost too hot to touch, and so does the condenser.. the cold side stays cold and is covered with condensation. I started noticing a problem when the compressor would kick on and off constantly.. any ideas?

 

High temp/pressure in the condenser is caused by system blockage, dirty coils, to much freon, cooling fan not runing, old clogged dryer, etc etc etc, you need a set of gauges and know how to read them or take it to a shop before you blow up your compresor or coils.
