clutch pedal not coming up???
i jus got done swapping out z16's in my coupe ex. wen i depress the pedal, it stays there. does anybody kno, or maybe can show me to a link for clutch pedal bleeding. i need help wit this. it's the last thing i need to do before i can go for test drive. thanks
did u swap the trans as well? if u didint make sure the little ball is in the clutch fork thingy on the front of the trans where the rubber boot is... if that is all good then u need to bleed the clutch. there is a bleeding screew right by that rubber boot in front of the trans. unscrew it just alittle dont remove it all the way and put some fish pump tubing over the end if it and put the other end of the tubing into brake fluid. then pump the clutch from inside till all the air is out then tighten the screw back before removing it from the liquid
also u will ahve to amke sure that the slave dosent run out of liquid on the firewall aswell if it does u will ahve to start over just keep checking it ever 3 pumps if u are alone and keep the cap on the cylinder when u are doing this
