HELP!!!!!!!!! And intro
hi I'm ray I live in San diego and well I'm somewhat new to hondas and well I need help...
I'm idle is acting crazy after swaping the motor, here's what I got
91 si hatch
2000 integ ls motor jdm b16 LSD tranny
intake manifold and wiring/ ecu from a 91 integ
I changed to 3 different idle control valves, still doing it...
3 different map sensors, still doing it..
should I try a new tps???
When the car is chillin it reves to 4k on start up then drops down to 800 then revs up to 3k and back down then up then down non stop untell I start driving then it shakes at slow speeds but completely stops at highway speeds but as soon as I take it out of gear or press the clutch it revs up and down again.... HELP!!! Thanks guys.

BUMP! Just replaced the tb gasket and the intake manifold gasket and its still doing it.... No check light at all so I'm sure its not the sensors... Help me
how do I bleed the coolant??? And I'm almost sure the tps is fine because there is no check e light but when I unplug any of the sensors the check e light comes on...
on the upper radiator hose where it goes into the head, there will be a nipple. it has a 12mm bolt/bleeder screw.take radiator cap off, start the car. open the screw/bleeder. there should be bubbles coming out. add fluid if low and when ya get a bubbleless fluid coming out put the radiator cap back on and tighting the bleeder shut

grammar police....
Check the tps for sure. "throttle position sensor". If its jacked up it'll make your idle dance around. If you bought the motor from a company it might have been damaged in transit. Bleeding the coolant is a good idea but doesn't affect idle.

correct me if im wrong but,
your car should have a FCCV which controls the idle when the engine is cold and on the inital start of the engine from cold.
its probably got some build-up in it, you can clean it out...
i would guess that would be your problem if your engine has one of those, im not sure if it has one though
***ALSO***
are you getting used IACV'S? or new ones, because you might want to just try cleaning that out too if you have all used ones.

I always did this with a warm engine, leaving the cap on if the rad... the pressure will squirt the air (and a little coolant) out so be careful.
ok so new prob... Cracked open the tuned ecu and saw that the aftermarket chip was loose so I pushed it all the way down, put the cover back on and plugged the ecu back in... Now it holds a idle at 3k all the time and the check e light is on now... Gerr!!! WTF!!! So can it be the ecu???
Put the stock ECU back in for an LS and work from there, "chipped" ECUs are for a car that has no known problems because you're just complicating anything that might be wrong, also you should have used the wiring harness from the car, not one from another car
once you've put the other ECU in, pull out the CEL codes and get yourself a shop manual for a 90-93 integra and start using it to diagnose what CEL codes you have to find out what's causing them. Good luck and do research before taking action from here out, it pays off! Also it may pay for you to change over to OBD1.

how do i convert from obd0-obd1 without swaping all of the wireharness?? .. I just looked at the ecu again, it is in fact a obd0 ecu and wiring the ecu's code is 37820-pr4-L10 432-208456 AT and it is a 3 wire plug ( one big white plug and 2 small black plugs)

you just get an ecu conversion harness, and then you can plug in the right obd1 ecu. which would be a p75. also i see your obd0 pr4 ecu is for an automatic tranny, which is going to throw a code in itself.
thanks everyone for the help.. turns out the 91 integ intake manifold was the prob... installed a b20 intake manifold that my friend had sitting around and its running perfect now.. stupid 91 integ intake manifold!!!!!
