first turbo, i dont know what im doing

my friend is selling his turbonetics turbo with all the bells n whistles meaning exhasut manifold, intercooler, and all the piping junk. But i really dont know what to do. Will i have to change my intake? and should i get new pistons or conrods or something that will handle the new compression?? pls. help i really wanna do this but dunno what im doing. hes selling it to me for $500... not bad i thought :D

read the faq's at the top. before you pull the trigger, learn. especially if it is your dd.

I'll second that. People who jump into their first setup almost always have problems that could have been avoided. Read through the FAQ at the top of the Forced Induction forum and ask if you have questions that aren't covered...
