Default D16y8/p28 timing questions

ok i have a boosted sohc tuned on neptune and when we checked the timing on the car:
mechanical timing was at 16*
ECU timing matched to 16*

but the question is how much total timing should i run since i have a obd2
motor and a obd1 ECU. at 16 psi most people run like 21-22* of timing so should i do the same?

or should i match my cam gear to my ecu and get a obd1 gear?

please lmk because i dont know what approach to take at this

I don't know too much about turbo setups and such but maybe this can help you... http://www.turbod16.com I seen it on another thread, it should help you though.
