EX Gauge Cluster Question!
Hello,
I'm swapping my 97 DX cluster for an EX cluster, and I was wondering if it was possible to swap over the middle MPH circle with the mileage reading from my DX cluster, over to my EX cluster to retain accurate mileage. Is this possible?
Thanks for any info!
EDIT: Has anyone every had problems with the lighting after doing the DX to EX gauge cluster swap? For some reason I cant get the top to lights to stay on... The left one will turn on randomly if i mess with the wire... I tried both my old lights and the new ones and its the same problem.. Im stumped.

Yes, its really easy to do as well.

I did the swap and didn't have any lighting problems (I did replace all the bulbs with LEDS though) But if you wiggle the wire and the light comes on and off it sounds like you have a short. Either that or the bulb is not seated properly. Make sure the whole plastic bulb assembly is locked in there really good because that is how the bulb gets its power!

Thanks for the input. I double checked the bulb seating and i still cant figure out whats going on with it. guess i'll have to double check the copper contacts tomorrow... thats the only thing i can think of.
