EK Rear subframe help and questions
Okay long story short a while back i wrecked my car, it got all fixed and didnt realize it till tonight but the driverside rear subframe ears where the lca bolts to is bent, not the whole subframe just the ears. And they are bent whats to where they cant just be bent back to work. I discovered this when i went to put on my asr subframe brace and ctr bar.
My questions are
1. i know you can by like an aftermarket front core support, are there aftermarket rear subframes?
2. from what i can tell the rear frame is made up of three pieces, the actually frame brace, then it looks like the ears on each side are a spereate piece/bracket which are spot welded to the frame. If i bought a new rear subframe could the ears just be removed from the new and attached to the old, it looks like you would have to pull quite a bit of susspension stuff from the car to beable to get up there and remove the whole subframe.

yeah it alligned perfectly fine. problem is the ears are bent so i cant bolt up my asr subframe brace up to it and have it line up flat against the each side of the ears, the passenger side everything is fine, but the diverside, when i bolt the brace to the ears with lca bolts the top holes of the brace where the bar and d brackets bolt is like one inch away from mounting flat, so the bolts that came with the brace are not long enough to go through the brace and reach through the ears.
does any of this make since lol?

thanks for posting that. Searching around I found the part number as well. The problem I have. The "tabs" "ears" of the rear subframe are bent, and the rest of it is fine just by looking at it. I'm thinking of heating the tabs only and taking my time and benting them back to or as close as I can get them to be straight.
Just wondering if the OP or anyone else has undergone this process. Heating them up

There is a tool specially designed to cut the welds through only the first layer of steel. I think it's called a rotary broach or something like that. It drills a hole but stops before cutting into the second layer. I have no idea how, but I saw it in Honda Tuning a long time ago.
