Rear subframe help and questions
Okay long story short a while back i wrecked my car, it got all fixed and didnt realize it till tonight but the driverside rear subframe ears where the lca bolts to is bent, not the whole subframe just the ears. And they are bent whats to where they cant just be bent back to work. I discovered this when i went to put on my asr subframe brace and ctr bar.
My questions are
1. i know you can by like an aftermarket front core support, are there aftermarket rear subframes?
2. from what i can tell the rear frame is made up of three pieces, the actually frame brace, then it looks like the ears on each side are a spereate piece/bracket which are spot welded to the frame. If i bought a new rear subframe could the ears just be removed from the new and attached to the old, it looks like you would have to pull quite a bit of susspension stuff from the car to beable to get up there and remove the whole subframe.
