Default Integra's Redline Smell of burning oil/plastic.

Hi, I have an integra in good condition... Pretty much stock, No frills.

I rarely reach redline with it (Only in 1st/2nd gear), but as soon as I get within 200-500RPM of redline, I get this weird faint smell that fills up my car.

The fans are off, but for some reason the integra still blows a miniscule amount of fresh air into the car with the fans off.

Is this common, or is something weird about this car?

Oil level is normal. 4 quarts. 5w30 with a little 10w mixed in.

If anyone has anything to say please speak up. Thanks

Never experienced a smell like that when winding out the rev's on my car.

All cars have some air coming through the vents even with the fan off, if it's set to fresh air and the car is moving.

Never had that smell eather. It will be air from the engine bay getting in. Eather through a gromit on the firewall of the air ducting intake where the fan motor is.

Only thing I can think of that would make it is anti freeze spilling over or clutch slip.
