forged pistons and rods for a f23a1
ive been lookin for roughly a month and i cant seem to find a damn thing for the f23a1. anyone know of any companies or sites i can get some? finna turbo it, and the pistons looked fine, but im just paranoid cuz it has 185584 on it.
Yes, you can use the ACT clutch disc with oem pressure plate.
As for the forged pistons, you can run K20A pistons, as the bore is the same. However, I wouldent bother with forged, I would just get high content slilca aluminum and run colder plugs.
If you need ANY engine parts for an F series engine, http://www.bisimoto.com is your answer.

I wouldn't advise someone of the OP's knowledge to run K20 pistons. They're far from a perfect fit, and I seriously doubt he's looking for 11.5:1 cr if he's planning on boosting.

Unfortunately no. The stroke is determined by the crank. It's just not that simple. F23 rods are the 'bastard child' of Honda. They aren't interchangeable with any other engines.

got another question: when i order pistons, do i gotta order the rings separately or do the rings come with it? also, when i order rods, is there anything else i need to order? sorry bout all the questions, just excited and dont wanna mess something up.
Some vendors supply them as a Piston "Kit"; Pistons, Piston Pins and Rings.
Other vendors omit the Rings. The reason would be the customer's preference of ring type, due to Cylinder Metalurgy and Surface Coating.
You've all manner of types available:Chrome Moly, Cast Iron, Moly filled cast iron and others.

AZ RACE ENGINEERING ! crower makes rods for it, and CP makes two options for pistons 8.5:1 is one and the other wont help you because compression will be too high at 11.5:1.
