Default Is my turbo blown?

So I swaped in another d16 after my turbo y8 spun a bearing. Slap my turbo back on, and it started smoking. Motor had bad rings, but I had to re clock the turbo to get a better fitment. So I find oil on the cold side of the turbo. Does this mean my seals are blown, it still functions fine and minimal shaft play.

If the motor had bad rings thats likely the cause of the smoke... how much oil are you finding in the cold side and after how much run time?
