Its weird but after the head gasket swap my engine started ticking. It sounds like its coming from the head but I can't pin point it. I checked the valve lash it it checked out within specs. What could be making the noise?

 

sounds like its your rocker arms. check to make sure they're all tight and adjust if needed.
