Take it to your local dealer, they have to hook either the "him" or "hds" honda scan tool to it and see which srs trouble code is being triggered by the system, once you find out which code is triggering the srs light on your dash then you might be able find out if you can make the light go off permanately.

You can put an 8mm resister in the connector on the car side of the harness. But that seatbelt isn't safe anymore. You might as well not wear it.

this is an accord hybrid, and the bad thing i cant find any seatbelts from junkyards, the issue is i want to put a resistor but im not sure what the resistance value should be. This is temporary until i find a seatbelt to replace it. As of now it works fine, it retracts and locks up at the right time

So if anyone put on a aftermarket seat or seatbelt, what resistor did you use to cancel out the airbag light

lol I don't know why I said 8mm I meant 8ohm.
It retracts but I bet it doesn't lock. The dealer sells them. I would never install a junkyard SRS part IHMO.

ive been fixing salvage vehicles for a while, and use salvaged airbags, part of fixing a salvage car is using legit used parts, and vin numbers and such are given when purchasing such items.

just to make sure, are you sure its a 8 ohm resistor? I need to be triple sure, ive been hearing different values around the internet.

ive been searching for a thread on this, and cant find it.

This is the only issue with my accord that im having, i just need to paint the vehicle now.

heres a quick pic
