Hi, I'm hoping someone here can help me with this:

My 2003 Accord V6 4D sedan was recently rear-ended. The collision repair place replaced both mufflers with some god-awful narrow pipe cheap pieces of junk. We know they're not the refurbished stock mufflers we were supposed to get, but need a way to prove it. I've searched online and have not been able to find any specs or schematics for the factory V6 muffers, left and right.

Does anyone here have any hard data about these mufflers, such as the diameter of the pipe? The new ones are at best 1/2 the diameter of the old ones, so it should be easy to demonstrate if we have a hard number. Thanks!

you can buy exhaust muffler tips, chrome or gold from Honda Factory. so you should check out how wide those are and that will tell u how wide the piping is

i agree, go to your local honda dealer and go to their auto parts department.

i think the cat pipes are 1.75 inches, dats wut i read on another forum
