rebuilding my H23 motor with Turbo charger....help

Default rebuilding my H23 motor with Turbo charger....help

I am going to install a turbo in my 1995 honda prelude H23, but what all should i upgrade and change out in the engine to get good power?....Im thinking about putting in about $1000 into the engine before installing the turbo

Well a 1000. could buy u some rods and pistons and some gaskets and thats about it. Then your going to need to get the block sleeved and if Im not mistaken ERL or Darton or golden eagle can do it for you for around 1200-1300 bucks. That will get u started.so theres around 2 k just parts and machine work not including assembly. Which If you dont no how to build the engine you can spend anywhere from 3k to 4k having someone build it for you. Thats just the bottom end.

He needs to concider larger fuel injectors, a chipped or stand alone computer and more.

Personally I'm going to use a H22 or F20 crank with custom pistons to allow for a 1.75-1.80 rod to stroke ratio. Dart sleeves are my choice for my H23. I want some good high rpm power and will use a GT35R. It will hace the largest intercooler as possibile and water/meth injection. I may add a small shot of nitrous to spool the turbo when needed. The list goes on and on.
