what is the iacv and where is it located on a 00 civic with a d16 motor???

 

back of the intake manifold (big aluminum thing that hangs off the back of the engine). Should be 2 bolts holding it on. It has 2 rubber hoses (coolant) running into it and 1 sensor plug.

It automatically adjusts idle based on coolant temperature. It has a valve inside that opens and closes to raise idle when the engine is cold and lower idle when the engine is warm.
