Default New to the honda game.

well just bought a 89 crx si n i want to mini me it just wondering what are some other options n if anyone got a sohc vtec head for sale. i also would like to know if a p28 ecu is a better option then stock ecu with vtec controller.

I know im a noob n sound dumb but what can u do.

you found the right place. this site has all of the information you need to do what you want to do.

first, get used to the search function, because 99.9% of your questions have probably been answered.

you can check the marketplace to find the parts you need.

i would go with a p28 which means converting your obd0 crx to obd1.

Yeah dude I would get a p28 if I was you... I did a mini-me right before I left for college. Unfortunately, I am at a military college and I am not allowed to have my car until my senior year . I did the p28 in mine. You have more options when you go obd1. I got the d16z6 head (92-95 civic) and I have not had any problems. I finished the swap a week before I left though, so my parents are enjoying it really...

your on the right track pretty sure it does not have to be a p28 but that computer will work it i think any obd1 computer will work with vtec engine as long as you get it chipped and with a engine build like that you may want to get it tuned any way and i would get ride of the vtec controller and sell it cause you could get money for computer.....lol....serisouly. hope that helps
