Give me suggestions on where to look.....clank heard when going over speed bumps.
It only happens on the right front. The noise has been making me worry (especially with a 120 mile a day commute). I don't hear/feel it when driving. I have replaced the shock/spring (upgrade) and the noise is still there. Therefore, What areas should I look at?

Nope. Never thought that they would slam together......hrm....they do vibrate against each other from 1000-2000 rpms......probably too damn close.
Any issues removing the heat shield?

it's not so much them slamming together, it's them banging the speed bump when your car bounces....I'm only saying this because it happens to me all the time.
I/H/E. Strut bars (upper) and springs/shocks (mild 1.5" drop)
Metal on Metal clank.....not the speed bump.

maybe the rubber piece on the pillow mount fell out?
Check the top of your strut under the hood. This happened to me once, the nut fell off and the strut pulled down and was just bouncin on the spring. also check your lower mounts.
Struts are fine. Checked them...it is a deeper clank....like a hammer vs. a LCA.
OH, did you check the rubber silencer thingy's that go on your spring from your stock springs? We left em outta my friends car and it would clank every now and then.
