Default Buying a 2002 rsx-s **Tranny issue** please help

Hey HT iam thinking of buying a 2002 rsx-s, its in decent condition and it has 102xxx miles! and purchase price is 5500$$ clean title

Well the only major problem with the car is the tranny.when the car is idleing its very hard to put in any gear. and when you push the clutch in and try to put it in 3rd gear while idleing it grinds very bad.

and the clutch pedal seems like you really gotta sink it to put it in gear

But while driving its not too bad to put in gear, what could this be?

maybe low on tranny fluid?

needs new syncros?

needs adjustments?

needs a clutch?

needs a pp?

lmk guys i think its a good deal i might go pick it up asap!

Check and bleed the clutch before you buy another tranny though.

yup itr tranny sounds good..
but change the tranny fluid first...
and if it stills has that problem...then u kno the answer

rsx are known for having the 2nd and 3rd gears go out..

At first glance, this seems like a clutch issue. Check that out first. If something with the clutch hydraulics is bad that would be a (relatively) easy fix.

That car looks like it might have other issues, such as body damage. Why doesn't the hood seam line up? Why is the front 'A' missing?

I'd make sure it wasn't hit in the side and something with the tranny isn't mis-aligned.
