That was my first choice, VIS was second. Thanks for the extra assurance

yah we get both in, seibon customer service seems to be better than vis but both hoods are good.

I just ordered a seibon, the reason i worry about it is because i saw a guy with one the other day and he said hes only had it for 5 months and the CF and Clear coating is peeling apart from each other and it has bubbles in it all over the place. Also his weaving looked weird, it wasn't straight at all. Do you know if Seibon has a good looking weave and last more than 6 months before they start having flaws?

we have gotten in about 50 seibon hoods and i think out of them 1 had that problem but seibon sent us a new hood. all our hoods have beautiful weaves with them theres some products you use that will affect the clear and could cause it to bubble. I beilieve for a few months seibon was using a weird weave that didnt work right and at that time we got vis but now we are back to seibon. Ive had a seibon hood on my civic and its been on there almost 4 years now and as of last month it looked perfect just have to take care of them. its just like any thing if you leave you car out all day in the sun and dont wax it of coarse the paints going to fade.

well that makes me feel alot better. I guess his was just some cheap off brand. His looked like it was bubbling between the clear coat and the carbon fiber. I'll definately remember to wax it often since my car is not covered. Thanks for all the help

I would suggest Seibon. That is their specialty. As some have stated, the weave is amazing. Single piece construction and heavy clearcoat. My friends shop just received one for an STI and it looked stellar. Definitely nicer than some of the other brands I have seen in person.
