Default b18c1 turbo build setup

Alright, so I'm going to pick up a gsr block and crank this week, and the cylinder walls are messed up, but I was planning on sleeving it anyway. Does anyone know where I can get them put in for a decent price, and have them do a good job? Also, I will have cp pistons, eagle rods, balanced and polished crank, and a fully built head. What kind of turbo? People have said that the s362 is a good choice, but I have made the goal 400 whp. No more, and no less. What turbo would last a long time, and not havetoo much lag? Also what do you guys think about this? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...26728
Cheap? I would probably re weld all the seems.

Thanks, David

The S362 is a bit big for just 400whp. I'd look at a Silver Surfer or even a T3/T04E 60 trim. that might be a bit better.

It is not the welds that are the issue, they are just made from poor quality material. I am only speaking from having one of their tubular manifolds, not the top mount, but I really wouldn't expect anything different.

Just save up and buy something better so you don't have to buy it again.

Spoolin, Synapse, AFI and of course Full-Race all make great manifolds at a decent price.

s362 = To big for 400hp goal
recommendation = BB T3/60-1 if you have that kind of cash. (Edited from previous suggestion. Apparently I don't know my GT series as well as I thought I did lol)
OBX Manifold = Garbage
recommendation = look on here there are plenty of good manifold manufacturers with sick deals.

Although i agree with the rest of the post, this turbo is going to be WAY too small for his power goals. IIRC, he's looking for 400whp on pump gas. This turbo is going to be getting up there trying to make 400whp on race gas. That's not to say it can't be done, but it sure as hell wont be on pump gas
