Default Crank angle sensor fault

My 95 2.2 lude keeps throwing up crank angle sensor fault and breaking distributors. The crank angle sensor on mine ive been told is attached to the oil pump. But ive rang handa and they said that the crank sensors are all in distributor on prelude.

Does anyone nkow what is going on?

do you have the factory engine in there?

the only h22's that came with the CKP on the oil pump is the 97+ motors. Im not sure about the 96. damn red headed step child.

Yea its factory engine. Its a 95' vtec 2.2si. Ive been through quite a few distributors. Honda say mine has the crank sensor in the distributor. But im on my 4th distributor now. They are not genuine honda parts though could this be the problem?
Thanks for the reply
