Default hydro/ cable tranny

Ok so heres the deal i have a b18a1. And the next thing i need is a trans. My car is a 97 honda civic hatch d16y7 with hydro trans. Can i put a cable trany in my car? Or does it have to be a hydro?
Can i convert it?
Any tips or idea will help thanks alot.

check hasport for a mount kit, i know they have a akit kit for this swap for EG's not sure bout the EK but id almost say they would have to

You can, but for the money you would spend going BACKWARDS, why wouldn't you go find a GSR/B16 trans?

Thats what im going to do, i just found a cheap cable one and wondered if it would work.
