Alright so I just finished my DPFI-MPFI, car runs, no limp mode, no CEL. However, i did adjust the tps a bit because i was having a slight acceleration problem. Now, when accelerating, the car will stagger before it gets over 2k, UNLESS i press the throttle ever so slightly to ease up the RPMs. If i push the pedal, not extremely hard, but a decent push, it staggers a bit but not when easing into it. I have a '89 Civic STD hatch, mpfi, CAI, full exhaust...blah blah. Would it be the TPS still? or is there something else? Timing, dizzy? anything please help.

 

Go ahead and check the voltage on your TPS with the switch on but not running. It should move smoothly from ~0.5v up to ~4.5v at full open throttle. If it spikes anywhere you should try another one. Otherwise I'd say maybe anomalies in the MAP or o2 sensor.
