Default New Axles, Acceleration Vibration

I just replaced the axles on my 90 CRX with B16B engine. I used all the exact same methods for replacing as I did with my 91 CRX with DOHC ZC(obviously different axles though). On my first test drive I notice a slight vibration in second and third gear under acceleration that I had never felt prior to axle replacement. Any insight???

I was hoping that wasn't the case. I purposely bought brand new axles too. I was also curious if its possible to over-tighten the axle nut because I didn't have a torque wrench.

Let me guess, autozone axles?

Lmao im in the same boat, thing is i said [freak] it, got used to the vibration, i took the axle off 20 times, and changed it with 4 different one, it got better, but still there.

Its the cheap *** REMAN axles from vatozone.
THEY [freak]ING SUCK!

My never vibrated, just changed it cause i had a ripped boot and my friend could get me the new one free, well a load of hell and stress came from these crap axles.

i used every autozone axle in town and they will not order a new one, cause they say i have a new one, yea a REMAN one, [freak]in idiots and there **** axles....

Good luck, you have to get lucky to get a straight axle.

Vibration under acceleration is always a bad inner cv joint.
No you cant overtighten the nut.
Its the axle trust me, its only started after the axle was changed.

I've never had a problem with Autozone axles<<knock on wood>>, I ran them on my stock engine and I've had them on my DOHC ZC for 4 years without a problem. I actually got these ones from Kragen and I even purposely bought the new axles as opposed to re-manufactured.

I bought axles from a 97 Del Sol VTEC. Matched up perfectly to the axles I took off.

Yeah, I just dont want to do it again. Anywho, have you ever heard of a break-in period for axles? The vibration seems to be subsiding.
