I have a 96 automatic civic ex which was running fine until a few days ago. I was driving when suddenly I couldn't accelerate. The engine was revving but the car was unaffected. I restart the car and it was fine for a few miles then it happened again. Restart it and it would hold gear fine for even less time, then completely give out. It was the first chill of the season if that could be related. Once the problem starts the tranny also makes little whining sound. The tranny fluid is fine, and a keep finding things online on solenoids, torque converters and thermostats and I just don't know. I can't rely on it to get me any where. Any help would be greatly apprieciated.
