hard starting?
I have a 90 accord EX, since i got it it will have a really tough time starting. It will easily crank all day just wont get started most of the time and kill the battery with tryna start it. Ive re-soldered the main relay, done plugs, checked the wires, done the distibutor, done the ignition switch, and checked most wires under the hood. When it cranks for a while you can smell gas, so i Belive it gets gas... any ideas? Please help i need this car daily and it kills its on battery tryin to start a lot..

Engine cold or warm?
If not stone cold, there is a known problem refred to as 'hot soak restart'.
There is a temperature sensor (TW sensor, I think) that tells the ECU what temp the engine is. It's not the same one the temperature guage uses. If it's flakey it can tell the ECU the engine is cold and the ECU will richen the fuel mix for a cold engine. On a warm engine this will cause a flooding condition. You could try holding the pedal to the floor next time while cranking and see what happens. Otherwise, a new sensor may be in order.
The sensor is a thermal resistor. It's value changes with temperature. When they fail the resistance will jump around at a certain point only, so it is very difficult to determine if one is good or not without removing it and measuring the resistance while heating it up and cooling it down, while carefully watching the resulting readings.

Do you hear the fuel pump when you turn the car over?
You're smelling gasoline because your fluding the car by constantly cranking it over like that. Check your spark if you haven't already. If it's good, check your fuel. It could be something as simple as a Fuel Pump. G/L!
