Throttle body and map question for b16a..with a skunk 2 IM
ok, i have done the search, and maybe it is right in plain view, but i didnt see it. i just installed a skunk 2 IM onto my b16a. now, im looking at the map sensor and it has one vaccum line that is not connected. when i start the motor up, the engine idles at 3000rpm, and im getting codes 5,6, and 14. so code 5 is MAP sensor mechanical issue. so i was wondering if i should just get another throttle body to bypass the wall mounted map sensor, or if that hose has a home. im gonna put up a picture later when i go work on it. and im gonna try to figure something out. but any help will be appreciated.
Thanks! Sam

bump...please help! i didnt get the chance to take a picture, but does anyone have any info as to the routing of the vacuum lines from the map sensor. how many hoses and where they each go?
so your b16a is still using a firewall mounted maf? you have one of the 1st gen b16a's then right. either way, if that hose off the map isn't connected to vaccum then your ecu wont have the slightest idea how much air is coming in your engine. so fix that first.
