I did a search and couldn’t find the answer for what I wanted so here it goes…
I recently bought a throttle body that the seller claimed to have come off an H22 motor, and the problem with it is that is the map sensor is missing, and I was wondering if it would be fine to install the throttle body without the map sensor or if it might cause problems like high idle? If it is recommended to get a sensor, how should I put it on, because it looks like the sensor was broken off the throttle body. Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks!

take the map off of the old throttle body, there is a little nipple coming off of it, run a vacuum line from the nipple to a source of manifold vacuum, put the throttlebody on and you are good to go. on 5th gen swaps i get that people dont get their engines from steve, are that way. steve always includes the map for me.
