Default turbod crx with boost crep

ok he goes I have a 90 crx with a 60-1 and custom manifold. Tuned on chrome. The wastegate has a 10 pound spring and at full boost creaps to 14. AFRs are 10.8 all the way to 14psi (a little rich) with 22 degress of timing. Whats weird is its got stock honda map sensor and not throwing a map code. And when it spikes from 10 pounds to 14 it pulls like a ***** F#$%er. I was woundering since afrs are ok if its ok that it creaps up them 4 pounds?

22 degrees of timing at 14PSI seems like an awful lot to me. are you sure the car isn't pinging?

you saying its got too much timing in it? It pulls good and smooth though 10 pounds as well as when it creaps to 14 it pulls real smooth and good too. Ive had 50/50 response on this 2 say nothing to worry about and 2 say not a good idea. I know that its not good that it creaps but my afrs are good all the way though the spike of 14 pounds

stock map sensor cannot read over 11 psi so its going in limp mode and leaning the faulk out of it not good at all

need to check with another boost gauge, get the srt-4 gauge out of ur honda eazy.
if you take out .5 deg of timing for every pound of boost,at 12.5 lbs u should take 6.25 deg off.the car would be fine at almost 24 of timing, check your plugs and if nothing growing on them ,ur fine.

22 is what on the map.the dist. is retarded 2 or 3 degress also.so totol timing should be around,19 to20.if it was going to 14 psi ,we would be having a cel for the map.it may creep up to 12.5 on a srt-4 boost gauge.that style manifold will boost creep,so eazy really need to put on the gm map senser, for a better tune.base mapped with a street tune a/f is 10.8 all the way to 8000 rpms.needs to be around 11.5 but stay on the safe side for now

13.3 @ over 117.good mile an hour, need some suspension and a slick and we might see a 11 sec time slip.how many passes did u make ? 6or 7 wasnt it.and drove it home.need to see if anything is growing on the plugs
