Okay, so I'm building an all-motor LS/VTEC all forge internals and getting pretty close to being done with it, found a LS transmission at a reasonable price will I be satisfied with this transmssion meaning am I going to losing a dog fight with the transmission or should I just save my money for a b16 or gsr transmission?

 

Yes, LS trannies are just sadness.

Depending on your goals you might want a ITR or b16 or GSR

use a tranny calc to figure it out, but even with a rather healthy lsvtec you'll be hating life.

 

I am more satisfied with the b16 tranny all motor. But those long rides on the highway may get annoying with the high revs.

 

If it's a hefty build, just rock GSR gears with a diff- you'll be pleased

 

well my main concern is, if i do go with an LS tranny how much is my power is going to be lost just by not going with a b16 or a gsr tranny
