smoking from exhaust
Can't really help unless you describe what color of smoke your seeing.. so we can try to determine the problem..
Blue smoke = oil
Black smoke, running rich = fuel
white smoke = usually coolant.

from what i can tell its black. i have a walbro 255lph feul pump an i noticed that its idling at like 1200 now. do u think that could be it? if so, how to resolve?
lucas is a beautiful thing. id say it whould be blue smoke very common in hondas when vtec kiicks in. check your timing! stop beatin on that baby, didnt you know its illegal to beat on a woman in public.
my buddies tell me its black when i punch it with or without vtec engaged and when the vtec kicks in. is there anyway around it? i have a walbro 255lph fuel pump, can i tune that?

one reason why you have smoke coming out of your exgaust is either because your burning oil, running rich, and when you hit vtec white smoke do come out of most car cause you burn oil when hitting vtec
basic things, intake, headers, exhaust and the fuel pump. other than that, nothing. i've heard a 225lph pump is too much for that car but i've also heard otherwise. if im running rich, what can i do to level it out?
