Default B16A build: eagle crank hitting oil squirters

i bought the Eagle rotating assembly for a B16 and i was [freak]InG stupid and i got it balanced before test fitting. i just threw everything together and my block wouldn't turn. i tore it apart and my oil squirters are hitting the crank. one is bent im not sure if i was sent a LS or GSR crank by mistake or what. do i need to knife edge the crank ? if i do that theres another 125 bucks down the drain to balance it. and then if that doesn't work i will need to spend another 125 to balance the stock
one

Pull the squirters and plug the holes. There is a company that sells plugs. Do a google search.

Yeah, if you had asked before hand Eagle wouldve told you that you needed to get rid of them. It's no big deal. If you have some extra rod bolts lying around they'll work. Just seat them in with some red loctite and cut them flush with the block.

i thought about blocking them off but that doesn't seem like a good idea, isn't that to keep the cylinder walls cool? i called eagle and the dumb *** told me just to bend them i did and i snapped the [freak]ing bastard at the base.

No that is what your cooling system is for. They were originally meant to cool the pistons. You won't really need them with aftermarket pistons. I would keep them if you are going turbo, but just close them up as suggested.

Also, when you bend them, you are supposed to heat them up with a torch so they are "flexible" of sorts.
